SugarPill Overhaul!!!!

Hooray! So I'm more excited than I can handle. Out of the Sugarpill Collection that Amy has out right now, I own ALL except for Goldilux, Birthday Girl, and Asylum for the Chroma Lusts. Then even tho its doubling, I want the Palettes, Burning Heart, Cold Heart, and Sweetheart. Plus the two kinds of Eyelashes. Oooo I am a happy camper. And now that I have grabbed all those and called them mine, here are the pictures of a look I did this morning. Using Tako (White pressed powder), Royal Sugar (Blue sparkly Chroma Lust), Tipsy (Pretty Green Chroma Lust).  YAY! Here it is, it looks a bit better now that its been on my face and i've blended it a bit further out.

I made a second order with Sugarpill. :p They had a birthday sale and I couldn't resist grabbing more, especially at 20% off. :p But I did a few other looks in the past few days.... and then today I was really bored so I did one look on one eye and another look on the other. Both drastically different than the other.

These are just a few of the various looks I have done in the past week or so...

Still don't remeber what I used here... Tho it was before I recieved Sugarpill so it was done entirely with M-A-C.

Another look I've forgotten to write down, Im going to try and recreate the two looks I have up that don't have lists of what I used, hopefully I will be able to get a better idea and alter these captions once I know.

Oooo the first post.

Ahh the very first post... always the one you really need to think about and wonder if anyone is actually going to want to read this crap. 

I created this blog to share with whomever wishes to join me in the makeup looks I will create and the makeup I use to create them. Perhaps as time progresses, I may start doing tutorials on how I did the looks exactly, but I first want to see if anyone really gives a damn. :P I have watched and read and seen so many people doing makeup tutorials on either blogs, or you tube. Its almost a bit... daunting to jump into the pond....but I suppose it would be fun and exciting to see if people like the way I do my own makeup.

My main makeup choices, are M-A-C and Sugarpill... I recently ordered a 120 color palette from BHCosmetics, I am hoping that since it received fairly good reviews that it doesn't explode during shipping. I opted to buy a large palette just for funsies,  I noticed alot of the people who did tutorials had them and said, hey they are like 25 bucks on amazon... why not grab one and give it a shot. I'll let cha know about that once I get it.

I have used M-A-C Cosmetics since around 2005 ish... give or take some months. I loved the colors, and to be blatantly honest, the rush of being able to say I owned MAC i was very brand obsessed for quite awhile, if  it wasn't M-A-C I wasn't wearing it. Even got so far as I threw ALL the other makeup I had away....>.< Biggest Mistake EVER! One I regretted for a long time, but no need to cry over spilt milk, ya clean it up and ya move on. So I now dabble in Covergirl, and L'Oreal.. and other brands like that. But my recent makeup Love, is Sugarpill Cosmetics, randomly came acrost it while watching makeup tutorials...I give this brand FLYING reviews... I emailed the owner Amy a week or so back and she responded within a few days... THE ACTUAL OWNER... what other company has the owner personally responding to emails??? Also, when I received the order I had placed, she personally thanked me on the invoice... I mean come on now... how awesome is that! 


The makeup I wear tends to be a bit loud a bit bright and a bit more than the a-typical makeup wearer you seen walking through the mall. Unless you walk into say M-A-C, I don't see a lot of people where I am from with bright loud looks, everyone seems to be more subtle... subtle is fine.. sometimes, but come on... how long can you live with just beige tones and a teensy bit of eyeliner and a dash of  mascara.... WHERE IS THE COLOR! The reds, purples, blues, greens, pinks, the list goes on and on! Thus the title of my blog... Life in Color...:D I am on a mission to personally share color with the people of the world who opt that subtle and basic is the best way...  so Welcome to my blog. Please stop by another time and see if anything fun and exciting has been posted..I will try to at least update this creature once a week, maybe more if I'm feeling perky.
